You are a marvel. And I always love your writing. One of the things I most love about living in LA is the incredibly diverse life experiences my friends have had. As you were getting clean, I was in your old ‘hood, gearing up for another IVF cycle - the one that worked and ultimately led to us meeting as moms a few years later! But we were living really different lives and when I think about what you were going through then - wow. I did think you two were an interesting couple.
As someone who has only known sober you, I’m glad you made those decisions and really impressed by the accomplishment. Kudos.
